 Cedar Suite and Luna Suite are adults-only (18+).
 The Cove Suite is best suited for families and guests visiting with children.
 Children are welcome during day visits when supervised by an adult at all times. These guidelines help ensure safety, respect for the animals, and a peaceful experience for all guests.

Are pets allowed at The Taiga?

Can I feed the animals?

Absolutely! Our pigs and cows love treats. Feel free to bring carrots, yams, or bananas, but please cut them into small pieces before feeding. For the animals' safety, only these approved treats should be given.

Need to pick some up? There's a Foodland in Mount Albert just a 5-minute drive from the property.

Can I visit the sanctuary without staying overnight?

The Taiga is reserved exclusively for registered overnight guests. We do not offer day passes or public visits. This helps us maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and our rescue animals while providing a more personal and meaningful experience.
