The Taiga

Animal Sanctuary

At The Taiga, we believe in building community through shared experiences in God’s creation. We love hosting gatherings that bring people together in meaningful ways — from invigorating ice plunges and grounding yoga sessions, to hands-on maple tapping and guided forest school tours guests can learn about the animals and natural wonders that surround us. Each gathering is designed to connect people not only to nature, but also to one another, creating memories and fostering a sense of belonging.

Cooking With Kally & Emma
Monthly Class

Step into a hands-on culinary workshop where ancient scripture meets modern craft. In this session, we pull directly from Biblical ingredients - grains, oils, herbs, honey, and traditional methods and turn them into beautiful, rustic artisan foods you can recreate at home.

Kally & Emma will guide you through the spiritual symbolism behind each ingredient while teaching practical techniques rooted in Biblical principles: patience, stewardship, gratitude, and the art of slowing down.

Expect a grounded, sensory experience that reconnects you to the way food was created, shared, and celebrated in scripture—simple, intentional, and deeply nourishing.

You won’t just learn recipes; you’ll learn the meaning behind them.

By Reservation Only

All event registrations are final sale.

Once an event is booked, no refunds will be issued for any reason. If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to a future event date, subject to availability, provided you notify us in advance.

Transfers hold no cash value, may only be applied once, and cannot be resold or exchanged for other services unless explicitly approved by The Taiga.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

**Day passes apply to non-overnight visitors only. Guests with overnight accommodations enjoy full access to amenities and animals; events are available as optional add-ons.**

“Spent 2 nights here and it was a nice little change from the city life. My husband and I came with our 8 month old, 3 year old and two dogs. We were greeted by their two cows, Dora and Roc the second we got out and they were friendly. The basement unit was just as pictured and very spacious. Though the unit was on the chilly end, tons of blankets and some robes were provided. Definitely needed bug spray and some was provided which was a nice touch. My husband enjoyed the the wood burning sauna and the whole family had some quality time in the garden area where there was a fire pit and chickens roaming freely. We even were lucky enough to have some fresh eggs for breakfast! Overall a great experience to reconnect with family and nature. "
